Acting Governor of Al-Dhalea opens 22 May Hospital in Juban district

DHALEA July 07. 2024 (Saba) -The Acting Governor of Al-Dhalea, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, opened on Sunday the 22 May Hospital in Juban District after its renovation and rehabilitation with a value of one million and 200 thousand dollars funded by the United Nations Fund for Project Services (UNOPS).

Al-Shaghdari, along with the directors of the Public Health and Population Office in the province, Dr. Abdul Malik Al-Ghurbani, and Security Brigadier General Hussein Al-Hamzi, were briefed on the equipment in the new departments, care and inpatient departments, surgeries, obstetric emergencies and nursery.

They listened from the director of the hospital, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hadi, to an explanation of the services provided by the hospital with its new departments and advanced equipment that meet the needs of the people of the district and the governorate in general.

During the visit, Al-Shaghdari directed the hospital administration to provide specialists, and maintain devices and equipment in a way that contributes to the continuation of providing services to citizens and alleviating their suffering.

In addition, Acting Governor Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari inspected the progress of work in the construction and expansion of the Juban Upper Sebyania Road with a length of 39 km and a value of 125 million riyals as a first phase with joint funding from the local authority in the governorate and the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance.

Al-Shaghdari, along with the directors of the province's security, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Hamzi, and the security of the Juban district, Colonel Rizk Amer, from those in charge of the project, listened to an explanation of what has been achieved, the difficulties facing the workflow and ways to address them.

Al-Shaghdari urged the speedy completion of the project according to specifications.

Essam Abu Lahoum, head of the governorate's intervention unit, said the expansion of rural roads in the districts of Juban and Qataba has begun, according to the directives of the governorate's leadership, with funding of up to 70% along with the local authority.
