HODEIDA July 07. 2024 (Sheba)- In Hodeida city, the guidance office and scholars' unit organized a cultural seminar marking the anniversary of the Prophet's migration.
Titled "Migration: A Turning Point and Victory," the seminar emphasized the Prophet's biography and the significance of this event in Islamic history. Speakers highlighted lessons on faith, perseverance in upholding Islam, and the importance of following the Quranic teachings.
Ahmed al-Bishri, first undersecrectary of the province, underscored the educational value of commemorating the Prophet's migration. He urged adherence to the Prophet's teachings in facing challenges, particularly amidst Yemen's current geopolitical tensions.
Sheikh Ali Somel from the scholars' unit and Sheikh Ali Adabi from Dar Al Ulum Sharia University discussed the historical context of the migration, Yemen's role in supporting the Prophet, and the enduring principles of Islam propagated by Muhammad and his followers. They emphasized the sacrifices made for the Islamic cause against adversity and oppression.
