TAIZ July 06. 2024 (Saba) - The acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed Amin Al-Masawi, today inaugurated work on the rehabilitation of Taiz International Airport.
In the inauguration, which was attended by the governor's deputies, Mohammed Abdullah Othman and Taha Hammam, and the assistant undersecretary of the Civil Aviation Authority for the airports sector, Yahya Al-Kahlani, the acting governor explained that the rehabilitation of Taiz Airport translates the directives of the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council to pay attention to the rehabilitation of the airports of the Republic and re-operate them.
He pointed out that the assessment of the damages inflicted on the airport as a result of the aggression nine years ago has begun and work is underway to repair them.. stressing that Taiz Airport will receive domestic flights after completing its equipment and facilities, including reception and departure halls.
