HODEIDA July 06. 2024 (Saba) - Hodeida Governor , Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, inspected today,Saturday, the project to establish a self-financing Cleaning and Improvement Fund building and nursery at a cost of more than 171 million riyals.
Qahim was briefed on the progress of work in constructing the Fund’s building and its contents, with an area of 970 square meters and consisting of one floor that includes administrative offices and a meeting hall. He listened to an explanation from those in charge of the project about the work that had been carried out in completing the building’s foundations.
Hodeida Governor also reviewed the work of establishing an agricultural nursery affiliated with the Cleaning Fund, to plant more than 50 thousand agricultural seedlings with an area of two thousand square meters to provide agricultural seedlings for the afforestation of Hodeida city.
He stressed the speedy completion of the project to establish the Hygiene Fund building and nursery in accordance with the specifications approved in the study on the project, explaining that this project comes within the priorities of the local authority to enhance the role of the Fund in improving hygiene work.
For his part, the Executive Director of the Fund, Abdel Nasser Al-Sharif, appreciated the province’s interest in the Fund and providing it with needs, considering supporting and financing the establishment of a building and nursery for the Fund a practical step that will have an impact in promoting cleaning work and improving the city’s streets.
