SANA'A July 02. 2024 (Saba) - Today's meeting, chaired by the caretaker Minister of Local Administration, Ali bin Ali Al-Qaisi, discussed on Tuesday, the level of implementation of the ministry's plan for the year 1445, and the priorities of next year's plan within the framework of the national vision.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Local Administration Dr. Qasim Al-Hamran, the ministry’s undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries, touched on the ministry’s plan for the year 1446, and the projects and activities it included.
At the meeting, Minister Al-Qaisi stressed the need for the ministry and the provinces’ plan for the coming year to focus on priority projects, to accommodate the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council regarding local development.
He stressed the importance of focusing on activating the role of cooperative societies , training and qualifying their members in the field of development work, in addition to preparing a report on the number of societies that have been established so far at the province and district level.
Al-Qaisi stated that the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council are relying greatly on the role of cooperative societies in bringing about a comprehensive development renaissance, based on the continuous expansion of agricultural production, encouraging , developing local resources, and mobilizing the role of society in development aspects.
He pointed out the importance of focusing on expanding community initiatives implementation , inventorying what was implemented and completed of these projects during the year 1445.
Al-Hamran stressed the importance role of the local authority agencies in the provinces , districts in enhancing mobilization , general mobilization efforts, and continuing the open military courses “Al-Aqsa Flood” to raise readiness to confront the American-British aggression, as well as continuing to support the brotherly Palestinians.
