
AMRAN July 01. 2024 (Saba) - In its meeting Amran University Self-Evaluation Committee, headed by the University President, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, discussed today, Monday, achievement level in the self-evaluation process at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences in accordance with international standards.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, and the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Al-Hawali stressed the importance of self-evaluation to improve the education quality in the Medicine College .
He pointed out that the university’s commitment to NARS and WFME standards reflects its continuous pursuit of academic excellence and the graduation of qualified cadres that meet the needs of society and keep pace with global developments in the field of medicine.
Al-Hawali praised the efforts made by the Development Center and the College of Medicine to improve the quality of education.
The meeting also reviewed reports on the progress made in the self-evaluation process, the results of the initial evaluations, and the most prominent challenges guiding the work.
He stressed the importance of focusing future strategic plans on improving academic and administrative performance.
