GAZAJune 30. 2024 (Saba) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Sunday said the residents of Gaza Strip "have lost all the necessities of life," demanding the opening of the crossings and the entry of enough food aid into the Strip.
According to Sama News Agency, UNRWA said people "in Gaza need everything and they are living in very desperate times and the only response to that is to provide more aid."
"Garbage is piling up everywhere, and people are living under plastic sheeting where temperatures rise," UNRWA tweeted on the 'X'.
UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, earlier described the humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip, which is subjected to unprecedented Zionist aggression for nearly nine months, as "almost hopeless."
He highlighted the need to confront famine and the deteriorating situation in the southern Gaza Strip.
