
HODEIDA June 30. 2024 (Saba) - The leadership of the local authority in Hodeida Province received the second batch of medications to treat patients with acute watery diarrhea, provided by Hail Saeed Anam Charitable Foundation, in the presence of the Governor of the Province, Muhammad Qahim, and the Undersecretary of the Province, Muhammad Halisi.
The quantity of medicines included 12,000 food items worth six million riyals, which will be distributed to hospitals and health centers in the districts of Zabid, Beit Al-Faqih, Al-Sokhna, Al-Zahra, Bajil, Jabal Ras, Al-Jarahi, Al-Hawk, Al-Qanawis, and Al-Tuhayta.
While the relief official at the Hail Saeed Anam Foundation, Issam Hajari, stressed the Foundation’s keenness to support health needs in order to enhance its vision of supporting efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of patients, thus contributing to bridging the gaps facing the health sector to treat and care for patients.
In addition, Thabet Brothers Commercial Group delivered a quantity of nutrients to Al-Thawra Hospital Authority in Hodeida, worth five million riyals, as part of efforts to supply the Al-Samoud Center for treating acute watery diarrhea and supporting it with medicines.
In turn, the Managing Director of Thabet Brothers Group, Qaiser Noman, and the Sales Director, Abdullah Al-Hajri, explained that this contribution comes within the framework of the company’s keenness and strengthening its humanitarian commitments to support the health sector and treat acute diarrheal disease.
