GAZA June 30.2024 (Saba) - Any new plan should include ceasefire in Gaza, enemy troop withdrawal from the Strip, serious deal of prisoner swap, IDPs return, assistance inflow, and start of Gaza renovation and reconstruction, Hamas leading member said late on Saturday.
"We welcome efforts exerted by mediators, the Egyptian and Qatari in particular," Ali Baraka added in exclusive remarks to 'Quds Press', as the Islamic Resistance Movement told the mediators that "we're ready to discuss other details about prisoners, reconstruction and assistance."
The resistance on the ground skillfully defends the Palestinian people, inflicts heavy losses to enemy troops and makes heroic deeds, he said, citing the destruction of over 2,000 Zionist vehicles in battles that left some 70,000 soldiers killed, injured or mentally ill.
"Steadiness of the Palestinian people and resistance would force the enemy to cease fire, as the resistance makes their guns in Gaza," Baraka added.
