COPENHAGEN June 29. 2024 (Saba) - Copenhagen police, on Friday, arrested dozens of pro-Palestine activists in front of the building of the Danish shipping and logistics company “Maersk” in the Esplanade area, under the pretext of “disturbing the country’s security,” The Palestinian Youth Movement, a pro-Palestine group in Copenhagen, said in a statement.
“Maersk directly facilitates arms trade to Israel through its key logistical role as a global arms transport company.”
The movement calls on Maersk to cut ties with Israel and stop supporting the Palestinian genocide.
The police said that they had "filed charges against the pro-Palestinian demonstrators for violating the country's peace."
