DOHA June 26. 2024 (Saba) - Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas' political bureau, said in his response to the martyrdom of his older sister and her family in a new Zionist massacre on Tuesday that these targets will not change the positions of the resistance in the ceasefire talks in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted Haniyeh in a statement, saying: "A new delegation joins in this heroic epic the processions and delegations of our great people, whose giving has not stopped for nine months." He added: "If the criminal Zionist enemy thinks that targeting my family and family will change our positions and resistance, it is delusional, because every martyr in Gaza and Palestine is from my family."
He continued: "The blood of the martyrs" asks us not to compromise and not to calm down and not to change or change or weaken or despair, but to continue our path with determination. However, his movement provided sufficient flexibility and agreed without hesitation to all the projects that were put forward, provided that the result would be the cessation of crimes, the end of aggression and the complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that any agreement that does not guarantee a ceasefire and an end to aggression is rejected, and this position will not change at any stage.
He pointed out that "the enemy chose to escalate, invaded Rafah, closed the crossings and caused humanitarian disasters and terrible famine throughout the Strip," and in light of this, "the international community is required to act to stop the aggression, bring in aid and provide the requirements of life for the people of Gaza."
At dawn on Tuesday, 13 Palestinians, including Ismail Haniyeh's sister, were killed in a Zionist shelling of a family home in the Beach refugee camp, west of Gaza City, which also led to the complete destruction of the house.
