SANA'A June 24. 2024 (Saba) - A speech event was organized in Maeen District in the Capital Secretariat to commemorate Guardianship Day.
At the event, which was attended by the Minister of Civil Service and Insurance in the caretaker government, Salim Al-Mughalis, the Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, Mazen Noman, and the Director of Ma’in District, Abdul Malik Al-Radi, a member of the House of Representatives, Engineer Lotf Al-Jarmouzi, pointed out the importance of celebrating the anniversary of Guardianship Day.
He said, “On this day, the Messenger of God announced the most important principle of Islam, which is the principle of guardianship for Imam Ali, peace be upon him, in compliance with God’s command to communicate it to be a guarantee of the continuity of the message of Islam , its teachings and a safety valve for the nation from penetration. He chose for it someone worthy of leading the nation, purifying it, fortifying it, and confronting its enemies.” .
Al-Jarmouzi praised the large crowds of the district's people, its executive leaders, notables, and sheikhs who participated in this occasion, declaring their loyalty to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and the imams of guidance, and renewing the sincere pledge to the leader of the revolution, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Guidance for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Al-Azzi Rajeh, pointed out that the Yemeni people are at the forefront of the Islamic peoples, celebrating and rejoicing in this anniversary over centuries and passing it down from generation to generation as part of their faith heritage, as an expression of thanks to God and acknowledgment of His grace.
Rajeh stressed that the effort, through continuous reminders of this important message, aims to ensure that its echo remains eternal and its content reaches the nation across generations, because the nation is in dire need of the principle of guardianship in its correct Qur'anic sense... pointing out that one of the most important reasons for normalization with the Jews is moving away from the principle of guardianship and deny him.
The honorable and distinguished Yemeni position in supporting the Palestinian cause and the oppressed in Gaza was considered an embodiment of adherence to the principle of guardianship.
