SANA'A June 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Unity Directorate in the capital secretariat organized today, Monday, a cultural event on the anniversary of Imam Ali’s Guardianship day - peace be upon him.
At the event attended by the Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, the Commander of the Support Brigades, Major General Qasim Al-Hamran, confirmed that celebrating the state’s anniversary represents the beginning of correcting society’s awareness that has been misled over many years.
He noted the role of this great anniversary in confronting the current challenges that the nation is going through, confronting the aggression's forces and supporting the valiant Palestinian resistance.
While the Directors of the Secretariat’s Guidance Office, Dr. Qais Al-Tal, and the Unity Directorate, Sami Humaid, touched on aspects of the biography of Imam Ali - may God honor his face, his courage and heroism in confronting tyrants , oppressors, his model of governance and establishing the values of justice, tolerance, and a civil state.
They expressed the greatness of the occasion, and the great connection that links the Yemeni people to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, and his pure family.
