SANA'A June 20. 2024 (Saba) - An official source in the Yemeni naval forces confirmed that appropriate naval weapons were used to sink the ship "TUTOR" because it entered the ban list through its company, Evalend Shipping Co SA, violating the ban decision and sending its ships to the ports of occupied Palestine.

The source explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that an email was sent to the company, informing it of the breach of the ban and warning it. Pointing out that the ship turned off the AIS during its passage from the Red Sea, and this indicates that it knew that it was on the ban list, but it did not care about the ship’s crew, the ship, or anything else.

The Official indicated that new weapons were used in addition to the attack drone boats in the process of targeting and sinking the ship TUTOR.

He called on all shipping companies to take the warnings of the Yemeni armed forces seriously, otherwise they will bear full responsibility for the safety of ships and crews.

The official confirmed that the naval forces will not hesitate to use all means and naval weapons carried by air, above or under the surface of the sea, in implementation of the directives of the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

He reiterated that the naval operations come within the framework of the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces supporting Mujahideen brothers in Gaza.

The official added, "We confirm that the American-British attacks on the coast of Yemen will not stop our operations in support Mujahideen brothers in Gaza, and every attack will be met a stronger response and devastating strikes with the help of God Almighty."
