BETHLEHEM June 13. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy admitted on Thursday that more than 60,000 dunums have been burned since the beginning of the year, including about 45,000 dunums in the first two weeks of June due to Lebanese resistance rockets.
According to the Ma'an news agency, the Zionist Nature and Parks Authority said in a statement that the areas most affected so far are in the Upper Galilee and the Golan.
According to the commission's data, about 30,000 dunums were burned in the Upper Galilee and about 22,000 dunams in the Golan Heights. About half of the burned area is in nature reserves and national parks, and the other half is in open areas and forests.
In the last two weeks, fires have increased in large areas in northern occupied Palestine, with fire brigades facing complex fires that often threatened nature reserves and parks.
