SANA'A June 12. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Abyan Province, Saleh Al-Junaidi, announced the readiness of the Aqabat Thara road, linking the provinces of Abyan and Al-Bayda.
Al-Junaidi explained during his reception with a number of sheikhs and notables of Abyan in Mukayras District, in the presence of the Director of the Directorate, Yasser Hajlan, that in response to the directives of the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Aqabat Thara road, which connects the provinces of Abyan and Al-Bayda, has become ready for citizens to cross, and all that remains is to open the road on the part of the party and the others.
The sheikhs and notables of Abyan called on the other party to quickly agree and respond to these steps, which serve the benefit of the citizen who bears all the burdens resulting from the closure of roads.
According to Governor Al-Junaidi, the other party categorically rejected the initiative announced by Sana'a to open Al-Bayda-Abyan road in response to the citizens' demands .
