NEW YORK June 12. 2024 (Saba) - Nearly 3,000 children are at risk of death from malnutrition in Gaza, the UNCIF said on Wednesday.
Hospitals are destroyed, treatments have stopped and supplies are scant, the UN Fund added in a statement, despite the slight improvement in assistance inflow to the sieged Strip.
UNICEF stands ready to provide nutrition supplies, but safe humanitarian access and a ceasefire are needed now, the relief agency said.
