Palestinians mourn bodies of six martyrs from Kafr Dan, al-Yamoun, Burqin, western Jenin

JENIN June 12. 2024 (Saba) - Palestinians in Jenin province on Wednesday mourned in a mass march the bodies of the six martyrs who were killed in the aggression on the town of Kafr Dan, western Jenin Tuesday evening.

The martyrs are: Muhammad Hazaa Muree, Saqr Aref Abed, 28, Mustafa Allam Muree, 21, from Kafr Dan, Ahmad Muhammad Samoudi, the brother of the child martyr Mahmoud Samoudi who was killed on October 10, 2022, Ahmad Muhammad Abu Obeid, 21, from Yamoun, whose father received the news of his martyrdom while he was in Saudi Arabia performing the Hajj and said goodbye to him through a cell phone, and Ayman Fadala from Burqin town.

The mass march started in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital, where the mourners carried the bodies of the martyrs on shoulders, and toured the streets of the city and its camp, with the participation of thousands of citizens who chanted angry slogans condemning the Israeli occupation and its crimes against our people, and calling for national unity.

The participants denounced the crimes of the occupation and its ongoing aggression against Jenin, its camp, villages and towns, and emphasized that the occupation's terrorism, crimes and aggression will not deter our people from confronting them.

The mourners carrying the bodies of the martyrs marched through the streets of Jenin, and then the bodies of the martyrs were buried in their hometowns in the towns of Kafr Dan, Al-Yamoun and Burqin after noon prayers, where they were buried after their families gave them a final farewell.

The three martyrs, Saqr Arif Abed, Mustafa Allam Marei, and Ahmed Muhammad Abu Obaid, rose to fame in Kafr Dan after the house of Osama Muhammad Abed was besieged and bombed with Energa missiles after violent confrontations, while the others were martyred during the confrontations in the town.
