SANA'A June 11. 2024 (Saba) - A training course was held in Sana'a province on entering and updating the database for multi-purpose cooperative societies, for employees of the General Administration of Cooperatives at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
At the opening of the session in cooperation with the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, Undersecretary of the Social Development Sector at the Ministry of Social Affairs Ali al-Razami referred to the sector’s efforts in coordination with the authorities concerned with technical supervision of cooperative work to improve the performance of cooperative societies and unions.
Al-Razami pointed out that promoting cooperative work, correcting its course, and improving its performance requires providing a database that includes the organizational, financial, and technical aspects of what would document and preserve rights.
It is noteworthy that the course is the first stage of training sector cadres on the modern database, while the second stage will include training specialized cadres in social affairs offices in the governorates to enter data on cooperatives under the supervision of the offices.
