GAZA June 10.2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" announced on Monday that the head of its political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, held a meeting in Doha with a delegation from the leadership of the "Islamic Jihad" movement, headed by the movement's Secretary-General, Ziad Al-Nakhalah.

The head of its office, Ismail Haniyeh, met in Doha with a delegation from Islamic Jihad headed by its Secretary-General, Ziyad Al-Nakhalah, and his deputy, Muhammad Al-Hindi, according to the Palestinian Information Center, Hamas said in a statement.

The statement indicated that the two delegations discussed developments in the indirect negotiations and efforts made to stop the war, stressing that any agreement must include a permanent cessation of aggression, a comprehensive withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, reconstruction, ending the siege, and a serious exchange deal.

The two delegations also stressed the unity of the resistance in the field and politics to achieve the goals of the Palestinian people at the interim and strategic levels.

According to the statement, the two parties praised the unity of the resistance front and the support areas in Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq, praising the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian people despite the brutal massacres carried out by the enemy and the war of annihilation it is waging on the Gaza Strip, the last of which was the Nuseirat camp massacre two days ago.

The two parties praised "the resistance's performance, steadfastness and ability in defending the Palestinian people and confronting the occupation's aggression, directing successive strikes at it and aborting its political and military goals in its war on the Gaza Strip."
