Fighters of the Akhmat-Chechen Regiment of the Russian Ministry of Defense under the command of Aslambek Saliev, along with forces of other Russian units, carried out tactical operations and "liberated another inhabited village from the enemy's hands, it is the village of Rizhevka, which is located on the border with Kursk Province," Kadyrov said, in a statement via Telegram.
He added that as a result of large-scale offensive operations, the Ukrainian side suffered significant losses and was forced to retreat.
The President noted that the coordinated and effective work of fighters from all units enabled this result to be achieved, without significant difficulties in just 3 days.
Last month, Russian forces succeeded in liberating a number of new villages, most of them in Kharkov Province and in the Donetsk People's Republic.
