HODEIDA June 10. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Hodeida province, today, Monday, headed by the Governor’s First Undersecretary Ahmed Al-Bishri, discussed the afforestation project for Hodeida City , the district centers and main lines in the province.
The meeting, which included the province’s deputy for services affairs, Muhammad Halisi, and the prime minister’s advisor for environmental affairs, Ali al-Asadi, reviewed the implementation plan for the project, which aims to plant trees in the city, the main lines leading to it, directorate centers, government , private facilities and factories.
He touched on the scope of the project, which includes three entrances, including the eastern entrance, which extends from Kilometer 16 to Bajil city, the southern entrance, which extends from the exhibition platform in Hodeida city to Mansouriya, and the northern entrance, from in front of the Red Sea Mills to the Salif Junction.
Halisi also touched on the mechanism for implementing the afforestation project, creating green belts around public and private facilities within Hodeida city, planting sidewalks , tree care, creating joint initiatives in cooperation with the public , private sectors and society.
