SANA'A June 10. 2024 (Saba) - The National Center of Meteorology expects the weather to be fair to partly cloudy and relatively hot during the day, and the opportunity is ripe for the formation of cumulonimbus clouds and scattered rain in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours.
The center indicated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the weather in the mountain highlands will be fair to partly cloudy and relatively hot during the day, and the opportunity is ripe for the formation of cumulonimbus clouds and scattered rain in parts of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhale', and Abyan provinces, north of Lahj, Raymah, Al Mahwit, Hajjah and west of Dhamar in the afternoon and evening
The center warned citizens of the hot and extremely hot climates in deserts, inland plateaus, plains and coasts, calling for people to stay away from exposure to direct sunlight from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and to drink plenty of water and fluids.
Seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains were warned of high waves and turbulent seas around Socotra Archipelago, the southern coasts, and the eastern Gulf of Aden.
