BASRA May 29. 2024 (Saba) - The national athletics team player, Ramzi Ahmed Salah, won silver in the West Asian Championship in the ten thousand meters walk race, in the championship being held at Basra International Stadium in the Republic of Iraq, with the participation of 13 countries.
This is the first medal for Yemen, during the participation of the team that left yesterday via Sana'a International Airport, heading to the Iraqi city of Basra to participate in the fifth West Asian Men’s Championship, which continues from May 29 to June 2.
The team participates in the tournament with seven players, a coach, an administrator, and the head of a delegation, as follows:
