OCCUPIED AL-QUDS May 28. 2024 (Saba) - Zionist enemy bulldozers demolished three residential apartments in the Ain al-Loza neighborhood of Silwan, situated south of the revered al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to local sources, the demolition began with the building owned by Ibrahim al-Halhouli after the occupants initiated self-demolition earlier in the day. The residential structure, comprising two floors with three apartments, housed al-Halhouli and his family.
Under the pretext of unauthorized construction, the enemy municipality compelled al-Halhouli to demolish his own residence. Subsequently, Zionist bulldozers completed the demolition, clearing what remained of the building's foundations.
Additionally, on Monday evening, liberated Maqdisi citizen Imad al-Abbasi Abbasan was coerced into self-demolishing his commercial store in the same neighborhood of Silwan.
This action aimed to avoid hefty fines imposed by the Zionist enemy, totaling half a million shekels."
