DHAMAR May 27. 2024 (Saba) -The Department of Community Initiatives in Jabal al-Sharq District in Dhamar province launched work on the Mahal al-Saadi-Al-Dhahr road paving project, with a length of 500 meters , a value of five million , 146 thousand riyals, with a community initiative and support from the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance.
During the inauguration, the Director of the Community Initiatives Department in the Directorate, Muhammad Al-Sunni, stressed the importance of activating community initiatives as a supporting partner for official efforts in implementing service and development projects.
Al-Sunni explained that the people of the region provided a quantity of paving stones , some necessary materials and manpower, while the Central Interventions Unit provided diesel, cement, and stone-cutting equipment “as part of the program to support community initiatives.”
While the head of the project’s community committee, Hakim Mutahar, praised the support of the Central Intervention Unit to meet the community’s aspirations in paving the road.
