Abu Lahm, Al-Madani & Al-Habari review road projects & community initiatives in Raymah

RAYMAH May 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Deputy Prime Minister of the caretaker government for economic affairs, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, along with the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, Major General Youssef Al-Madani, and the Governor of Raymah Fares Al-Habari, were briefed today, Saturday, on the progress of completing the project to open and asphalt Al-Jebeen - Bani Nahat - Bilad Al-Ta’im road.

Abu Lahoum, Al-Madani, and Al-Habari, along with the Chairman of the Supreme Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Madani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Kamal Khaled, Executive Director of Bonyan Foundation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Madani, and Undersecretary of the province, Muhammad Murad, listened to a clarification from the Director of the Works Office in the Province, Engineer Walid Al-Nahmi, about the progress of work on the project. Its length is 35 kilometers, at a cost of one billion and 800 million riyals, as well as the excavation work in the project, which reached 85 percent.

Abu Lahoum pointed out that the visit comes in implementation of the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council, to pay attention to Raymah , foremost of which is completing the roads linking it to other provinces.

For his part, the Governor of Raymah appreciated the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the Fifth Military Region and their accompanying delegation, which embodies the great interest in the province’s conditions and the implementation of service projects in various fields, especially roads, as Raymah is one of the provinces that was deprived of these projects over the previous years.

In addition, a meeting chaired by the Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance and including the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, the Governor of Raymah, and the directors of the directorates and executive offices discussed the level of implementation of community initiative projects in a number of directorates.

The meeting approved the development of work matrices to complete the completion of the projects according to the approved plans, specifications and time periods specified for them.
