[24/ May/2024]
SANA'A May 24, 2024 (Saba) - Insight and knowledge have manifested in the summer courses and activities for the year 1445 AH, within the framework of fortifying the generations against the destructive ideas that enemies seek to instill in their minds to facilitate intellectual, cultural, and scientific control over them.

In Sana'a province, the summer courses for the current year witnessed widespread participation from various age groups and levels, aiming to equip them with various sciences, foremost among them being the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran and enhancing Quranic culture among them.

Students from Sana'a province flocked from various districts to the summer courses, with the number of those enrolled reaching approximately 138,681 students, an increase of 30,841 students compared to the previous year, distributed across 1,493 open schools and 249 model "boarding" schools accommodating 4,871 students.

The increase in students' interest in this year's summer courses reflects the societal awareness of the importance of these courses and activities, their diverse programs, and simultaneously, the eagerness of parents to enroll their children in summer schools to provide them with a nurturing education infused with Quranic culture, immunizing them against intellectual invasion and soft warfare waged by hegemonic powers to mislead generations with false and misleading beliefs.

The summer courses in Sana'a province have transformed into student forums and scientific forums, where students acquire beneficial knowledge and wide-ranging intellectual culture encompassing religious sciences, making enemies resentful and launching misleading campaigns against them.

Amid the attention of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, the government, and state leadership towards the summer courses and activities, students eagerly seek to join the schools, desiring to arm themselves with proper awareness, religious sciences contributing to the development of their thoughts, and reinforcing creativity among them.

Despite the enemies' intellectual, cultural, and social wars and their media campaigns against summer courses, Yemeni students confidently continue to participate, benefiting from religious, scientific, sports, and cultural activities, immunizing themselves against intellectual deception campaigns and enlightening them with correct concepts, resisting enemies' attempts to distort their identity and culture.

Summer courses, with their scientific, cultural, and creative activities, pose a dilemma for enemies as they realize that what is taught in them is the effective weapon in the nation's victory over oppression, especially when preserved and implemented according to the righteous methodology that makes humans slaves of God, believing in Him, and followers of His Messenger and the truthful believers.

In this regard, the Governor of Sana'a, Abdulbaset al-Hadi, explained that the summer courses, with their scientific, cognitive, and religious activities, provide an opportunity to enlighten generations about the rightful love for Allah, the most deserving of worship, sincere devotion to Him, His Messenger, and His allies, and to break free from the chains of subordination to others.

He affirmed that summer courses constitute an obstacle to the projects of arrogant states seeking to dilute the youth and distort their religious identity, pointing out the efforts exerted by America and the Zionist enemy to target generations intellectually, ideologically, and strip them of their religious identity.

He noted the benefits of summer courses in building students' personalities in light of the tolerant Islamic creed, supporting their affiliation with their religious identity, emulating the nation's icons and scholars, enhancing loyalty to their country, preserving it, discovering students' talents, refining and supporting them, and developing their various skills.

The Secretary-General of the province, Abdulqadir al-Jilani, emphasized the importance of summer courses and activities in developing the capabilities and knowledge of generations, raising them with a correct Quranic upbringing, and instilling awareness in the community of their significance, motivating them to encourage their children to benefit from them in various fields.

He expressed hope that students would increase their participation in summer course activities, which would benefit them, their communities, and their nation.

Deputy Governor Hamid Asem considered summer courses as vital incubators for protecting children from misleading cultures aimed at corrupting Muslim communities.

He emphasized that summer courses represent an opportunity to assist students in memorizing the Holy Quran, enhancing their Quranic culture, and raising awareness about the dangers of the soft war waged by global Zionism against the Islamic nation.

On his part, Hadi Ammar, the Director of the Education Office - Head of the Sub-Committee for Summer Courses and Scout Camps in the province, praised the community's interest and engagement with summer schools.

He affirmed that this would have a significant impact in achieving the enlightening mission of the summer courses, pointing out the misleading campaigns launched by the aggressor forces against summer schools, aiming to tarnish their image and divert attention from their noble objectives in safeguarding the youth and students.

Ammar indicated that the increase in enrollment in summer courses reflects societal awareness of their importance, stemming from parents' recognition of their responsibility to protect their children from the risks of slipping into environments that enemies seek to lure them into, with the aim of diluting their Islamic identity.

He also highlighted the distinctive features of summer courses, including the diversity of activities and programs aimed at reinforcing Islamic identity and Quranic culture among generations, and teaching them various fields of knowledge, which contributed to enhancing the level of interest in summer schools.

He reviewed the activities included in the summer courses, such as visits, walking marches, recreational trips, cultural competitions, sports tournaments, and launching agricultural campaigns, in addition to scientific and religious activities.

Abdulmohsen al-Sharif, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, mentioned that sports activities constituted a qualitative addition to the summer course programs, aiming to equip students with sports skills in various team and individual games.

He praised the students' skill and creativity in various games, noting the emergence of talented youth in sports, cultural, scientific, and social activities, affirming the commitment to continue nurturing, refining, and supporting talents according to available resources.

Summer courses remain creative, intellectual, cultural, and scientific bases, igniting the enthusiasm of youth to continue their innovations and creations in various fields, under the patronage and care of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the state, and the government, representing a true adjunct to the public, vocational, technical, and academic education sectors.
