
DHAMAR May 12. 2024 (Saba) - The Traffic Department and the branch of the General Authority for Regulating Transport Affairs in Dhamar province on Sunday launched a project aimed at restructuring the internal transportation network within the city.
In partnership with the branch of the General Federation of Yemeni Trade Unions in the province, governor’s undersecretary Mohammed Abdulrazzaq pointed out the importance of the combined efforts of various relevant authorities, highlighting the necessity of organizing the movement and routes of internal transportation within the city to alleviate traffic jams.
Abdulrazzaq appreciated the efforts being made to enhance the flow of traffic and movements within the city of Dhamar.
Brig. Gen. Ali al-Washli, Director of the Traffic Department in the province, emphasized the significance of implementing the new mechanism for internal transport buses, utilizing the "odd and even" number system.
This project aims to mitigate traffic congestion and streamline traffic movement effectively, al-Washali added.
