Discussing Bajil Cement Factory restarting

HODEIDA May 12. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting at Bajil Cement Factory in Hodeida province, headed by Governor Muhammad Qahim and including the Head of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing, Yahya Ateefa, discussed restarting the factory at its full production capacity.

During the meeting, the Governor of Hodeida and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cement Corporation heard from the factory director, Faisal Abdo Ahmed, and his deputy, Faisal Hammam, a brief report on the completion of maintenance work , plans for development and modernization.

Governor Qahim appreciated the efforts of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cement Corporation , the leadership and cadres of the factory, and the great readiness he observed to resume the operation process at high production capacity.

While the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cement Corporation confirmed that the Cement Corporation, in cooperation with the leadership of the Industry Ministry , worked to solve the problems for the factory to return to work at a high pace according to plans that guarantee the continuity , sustainability of the production process, and to develop the mechanisms of the marketing process in a way that is commensurate with the quality of the government cement factories’ products and the confidence they enjoy among the Yemeni citizen.

Hodeida Governor , Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing, Vice President of the Corporation for Commercial Affairs Mahdi Al-Hawari, and Director of the Security Director of Hodeida province, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, also reviewed the factory facilities.

The visitors praised the efficiency of the technical staff, the great experience of the factory, and the efforts they make to maintain the equipment’s mechanisms.
