SANA'A May 12. 2024 (Saba) - The Yemen Petroleum Company began on Sunday implementing a training program for the code of conduct for the company’s employees and its branches in the provinces.
At the opening of the three-day program, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for the Oversight and Inspection Sector, Dr. Abdullah Haider, considered that the Code of Conduct has become one of the standards of institutional excellence, especially since its foundations are based on the Holy Qur’an and the era of Imam Ali by Malik Al-Ashtar.
He explained that the code comes within the framework of institutional development of state institutions according to scientific foundations and in implementation of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, stressing that any work is worthless unless it is culminated in practical ethics and a code of conduct as it complements development and achievement projects.
Haider stated that the code included many behaviors that regulate the relationship between the superior and the subordinate, and that some of its paragraphs were extracted from many effective laws.
He stressed the importance of having applied models and practical procedures for the Code of Conduct so that the employee can be a model in his community and have a sublime message, pointing out that all the rumors that targeted the Code no longer have any effect after time has proven their falsity and slander.
