
HODEIDA May 12. 2024 (Saba) - Hodeida governor Mohammed Qahim has inspected the work progress of the dialysis center in Zabid district in Hodeida and the level of services it provides to patients.
Qahim briefed on the conditions of patients receiving dialysis sessions at the center and the extent of the care they receive despite the difficulties facing the center’s management.
He heard from director of the laundry center Tariq Khuzaie an explanation about the obstacles facing the center in providing the financial capabilities to purchase diesel to ensure the operational movement of the center and the washing equipment.
The governor also listened to an explanation about the capacity of washing sessions that the center provides to more than 110 patients from Zabid district and its neighboring districts as well as those coming from Raymah and Wosab area in in Dhamar province.
He stressed the keenness of the local authority leadership to follow up on the needs of dialysis centers in the center and directorates of the governorate, pointing out the importance these centers represent in saving the lives of patients.
