TAIZ May 08. 2024 (Saba) - Employees of the Office of Technical Education , Vocational Training and students of the Industrial Technical Institute in Al-Hawban, Taiz province, organized today,Wednesday, a stand in solidarity with students at American and European universities, who are being subjected to repression and torture as a result of their opposition to the Zionist massacres against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
The participants in the protest expressed their support for the fourth stage of escalation within the framework of the Yemeni armed forces’ support and assistance to the Palestinians.
At the rally attended by the Dean of the Institute, Mansour Mane, and the academic staff, the Director of the Technical Education Office, Nabil Al-Jundi, praised the student movement in Western universities denouncing the genocidal massacres committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza and demanding the end of the siege on the Strip.
He stressed that the violence and torture to which American and European university students are exposed represents a scandal to Western regimes that claim to protect freedom of opinion and expression.
He denounced the arbitrary practices , confiscation of freedom of opinion and expression against university students in America , European countries, and considered it a blatant violation of freedom of opinion and expression and the right to peaceful demonstration.
The statement called on university students in all countries to carry out a broad student movement in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to put pressure to stop the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy.
