MAHWIT May 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Finance, in Al Mahwit province, launched the disbursement of cement within the program to support community initiatives for the fourth phase, the second batch.
The batch, which will be distributed to 153 road projects in the districts of Shibam Kawkaban, Al-Rajm, Al-Tawila, Bani Saad, Al-Khabt, Haffash, Malhan, Al-Madina, and Jabal Al-Mahwit, includes 10,000 bags.
The head of the Central Interventions Unit in the governorate, Engineer Muhtar Al-Turki, confirmed that the disbursement of cement comes as a translation of the directives of the RevolutionLeader and the President of the Supreme Political Council to support community initiatives to advance development work at the level of the directorates and deprived areas.
He pointed out the keenness of the leadership of Finance Ministry and the Interventions Unit to speed up work on initiatives, with a focus on follow-up and supervision to make their projects successful, as well as targeting the most deprived areas in the field of roads, water and agriculture.
He called on the beneficiaries to quickly implement the projects until the next stages of the initiative support project are implemented. He praised the efforts of the people of Al Mahwit in implementing service projects and mobilizing the community’s energies to actively participate in implementing the initiatives.
