SANA'A April 27. 2024 (Saba) - The caretaker government’s spokesman, Minister of Information, Daifallah Al-Shami, confirmed that the attacks on students and academics at American universities, who are against the genocidal war in Gaza, exposes the falsity of American claims that pay lip service to human rights and freedom of opinion and expression
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the government spokesman praised the expansion of protests against the Zionist aggression against Gaza in American universities, despite the campaign of arrests carried out by the American authorities against students.
He pointed out that the violations and arrests of students carried out by the American authorities show the black record of the American administration in the field of human rights, and also confirms its unlimited support for the Zionist entity and its participation in the war of extermination against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Minister Al-Shami pointed out that the campaign of repression and intimidation carried out by the American administration against peaceful demonstrators in American universities in solidarity with the Palestinian people and not allowing it, is a new setback for the White House administration, which has turned a deaf ear to terms of democracy, protection of rights and freedoms, and respect for freedom of opinion and expression.
