U.S. college students' uprising/Intifada in support of Gaza terrifies Zionist, American leaders
[26/ April/2024]
SANA'A April 26. 2024 (Saba) - Student protest uprising in U.S. universities demanding an end to the Zionist aggression against Gaza and the cessation of absolute American support for this usurping entity escalates every day to include dozens of universities and educational institutions in various United States, which has sparked panic and terror among Zionist and American leaders.

The anger of the American student demonstrators comes at a time when US President Joe Biden is facing increasing political pressure regarding the actions of the Zionist enemy in Gaza and the deteriorating humanitarian situation of the Palestinians in the Strip, as Biden addressed the protests Monday saying He “condemns any anti-Semitic protests that take place.”

The new protests also come in the wake of the arrest by the American authorities of hundreds of students who have been sitting in tents at Columbia, Yale, New York and other universities since last Friday as well as the arrest of teachers and faculty members on charges that they are anti-Semitic and that the protests threaten the security of Jewish students.

American institutions and members of Congress leveled accusations of “anti-Semitism” against participants in the protests, against the backdrop of their demand that the Zionist enemy stop killing Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

American security forces also invaded many university campuses, abused hundreds of students, researchers, and faculty members, and arrested hundreds of them.

Reuters reported that pro-Palestinian students set up camps at more universities across the United States in protest against the Zionist attack on Gaza, despite mass arrests in similar demonstrations at a number of universities on the East Coast during the past days.

In a few days, the student demonstrations extended to include the length and breadth of American lands, and spread their contagion to more than 24 American universities, including leading institutions including Harvard, Yale, Boston, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the northeast, passing through Princeton, Brown, Columbia, New York, and George Washington universities on the east coast.

With the expansion of protest sit-ins at American universities, Christopher A. Wray told NBC News that the bureau is coordinating with university campuses to make them aware of anti-Semitic threats and potential violence in relation to the ongoing wave of protests against the Zionist war on Gaza.

Meanwhile, usurping Prime Minister of the Zionist entity Benjamin Netanyahu said in a recorded speech “More must be done to confront the pro-Palestinian protests that have spread in American universities, as what is happening in American universities is horrific,” accusing the participants of being “anti-Semitic mobs.”

Zionist Netanyahu added "This is unreasonable, and must be stopped and condemned unequivocally. The reaction of a number of university presidents was shameful. Fortunately, the response of many federal, state and local officials differed, but more must be done, more must be done." .

During their uprising, the student demonstrators at American universities are demanding a ceasefire in Gaza, cutting off the university’s ongoing financial investments in companies that support the Zionist military effort in Gaza, and even cutting all ties with the usurping entity in some cases.
The university uprising spread in the form of alliances of largely independent student groups, from north to south and from east to west throughout the United States of America, as student groups of different religions participating in it demanding an end to the barbaric aggression on the Gaza Strip and ending American arms support to the Zionist enemy entity.

Observers believe that these practices have undermined the concept of freedom of expression in America and revealed the ugly and true face of American politicians. When it comes to the Zionist occupation, everything falls, from international laws to foreign policies and agreements against armament and mass destruction, even American laws themselves fall.

International satellite channels confirmed that they are facing difficulties in obtaining experts or analysts to participate in their programs to talk about what is happening in American universities for fear of being subjected to persecution while political experts and analysts, including Americans, see that what is happening is nothing but an explicit attempt to silence the voice supporting the Palestinians describing what is happening is the suppression of freedoms and double standards.

Others consider that the campaign against the demonstrations is nothing but an attempt to prevent the student movement from leaking into the overall American public opinion, which may create a major rift between the American society that rejects the war and the American political body that supports the Zionist entity.

Writer Rashid Shaheen says “When talking about the student “uprising” taking place in American universities, it must be pointed out that the student movement in the occupied Palestinian territories played an important role as an integral part of the Palestinian national movement.”

Shaheen points out that the student movement was the main engine and “spark” that moved the Palestinian street, especially during the eighties of the last century.

He stressed that the “intifada/unprising” taking place in American universities is without a doubt one of the most important fruits of the flood that began on October7,2023.

Writer Shaheen explained that historical experiences have proven that student “uprisings,” especially in America and the West in general, had the greatest impact in determining the fate of many issues and contributed significantly to putting an end to the war in Vietnam.

They also effectively contributed to the end of the apartheid regime in South Africa, in addition to their role over civil rights of “black” citizens in the United States of America.

In general, the state of "panic and terror" over the extending and continuing the student uprising to the rest of the universities which prompted the prime minister of the usurping Zionist entity to come out, speaking in English, addressing America's leaders and its public, and shamelessly inciting the suppression of students to stop this movement, and he did not hesitate to describe their movement as the Nazi student movement in the 1930s.

The state of "panic, terror, and fear" of the growing uprising prompted US President Biden to also make false statements regarding the participants in the uprising, and he did not hesitate to accuse them of the always ready accusation of "anti-Semitism."

This is also what prompted the Zionist Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, to go personally to Columbia University to address the students and then accuse them of anti-Semitism, as his president had done before.

The state of terror that gripped Netanyahu and all the leaders of the occupying Zionist entity and the ruling American administration in the White House is neither absurd nor exaggerated, because each one of them is fully aware of what the continuation of this uprising means, and that if it continues, it will not stop unless the demands are met, as happened in many precedents' experiences.

Observers and analysts also believe that the common denominator between these protests was that the demonstrators raised pro-Palestinian slogans and demands to end the killing of civilians in Gaza, and to stop American military, financial and political support for the usurping Zionist entity.

They concluded from this wave of protests that a group of American youth is dissatisfied with the policy of President Biden is absolutely supportive of the Zionist entity in its war on Gaza.

According to observers, it is expected that the pace of new universities joining the protests will accelerate, in a way that will be difficult to control as long as the security solution remains the prevailing one among the American police forces.

It is worth mentioning that the demonstrations and protests rejecting the American policy in support of the war of extermination led by the Zionist enemy entity in Gaza have become a “headache in the head of the American administration” in a way that has become something like a “student uprising” against the American administration; with every new day there is a spot in an American university there are demonstrations against the Biden administration, and pro-Palestinian protests are concentrated on university campuses throughout the United States.
