GAZA April 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called on the workers of the world to show solidarity with the Palestinian people against the ongoing Zionist aggression for the seventh consecutive month.
The movement said in a press statement, carried by the Palestinian Information Center on Friday: "We call on the workers of the world, to a week of solidarity activities with the workers of Palestine, and let the International Workers' Day be a cry in the face of injustice and Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights."
It added: "On the occasion of International Workers' Day, which falls on the first of May, we call on all movements, unions and trade unions around the world to a week of solidarity activities with the workers of Palestine and the Gaza Strip, by organizing demonstrations and marches that roam the capitals and cities of the world, and support and support the rights of Palestinian workers in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem and the occupied interior, and reject, criminalize and expose all forms of crime and injustice to which they are subjected, due to the Zionist occupation."
The movement appealed to transport unions and port workers, "calling on them not to deal with Zionist shipping companies, intensifying all forms of boycott of the criminal Zionist enemy, which has been committing crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing for more than half a year against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and active participation with all trade union formations, in the week of solidarity with the workers of Palestine."
