BAYDA April 25. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Al-Bayda province, which included Governor Abdullah Idris, and Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals - Acting Executive Director of the Yemen Gas Company, Yasser Al-Wahidi, discussed the gas supply situation in the province.
The meeting discussed the possibility of increasing the quantities according to what is available to cover the need, and decided to provide the central stations with the necessary quantities and address the difficulties, and to commit to the distribution mechanism within the specified geographical scope of the facility to ensure its delivery to citizens.
He stressed the importance of continuing field visits to gas filling stations to ensure compliance with security , safety standards , to remove random stations that violate the conditions and keep them away from population centers.
In the meeting, the Governor of Al-Bayda pointed out the importance of coordination between the local authority and the company to provide domestic gas to citizens... urging to activate the supervisory role over domestic gas selling stations, filling cars , agents, and arresting manipulators.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals - Acting Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company, referred to the company's efforts to provide the gas needs of citizens in various procivces.
He explained that the company has a plan to distribute gas in the provinces according to a specific mechanism that guarantees the stability of the supply situation for this material.
