SANA'A April 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the caretaker government, Eng. Hisham Sharaf, met on Wednesday with the Acting Resident Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Sana'a, Irving Prado.
During the meeting, they discussed WFP's efforts to urge donors to fulfill their commitments to enable WFP to implement its various projects and programmes.
In the meeting, Minister Sharaf urged the food program to quickly activate aid programs and food baskets to address the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe created by the US-Saudi-UAE coalition of aggression and blockade.
For his part, the Acting Resident Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) handed over a copy of the nomination papers of the new Resident Representative.
