Abu Obeida: We appreciate every effort that joined Al-Aqsa flood, especially battlefronts in Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq
[23/ April/2024]
GAZA April 23. 2024 (Saba) - The spokesman for the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, "Abu Obeida", saluted every military and popular effort that joined the Al-Aqsa flood, especially the battlefronts in Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq.

Abu Obeida said in a video speech broadcast by Al-Jazeera on Tuesday, which marks the 200th day of the war on the Gaza Strip, "We appreciate every military and popular effort that joined the Al-Aqsa flood, especially the battlefronts in Yemen, Lebanon and Iraq.

"The hysterical reaction to the resistance action from various fronts indicates the importance of resistance action," he said.

He stressed that "the first front of the resistance is the West Bank front, saluting every inch of our free and proud bank."

"Iran's response with its size and nature has set new rules and confused the enemy's calculations," he said, calling on the nation's masses to escalate their movement in support of the resistance. "The resistance will remain faithful to the sacrifices of our people, and we carry their pain and hopes," the al-Qassam spokesman said.

Abu Obeida said that the Israeli occupation is stuck in the sands of Gaza, and that it will only reap shame and defeat.

"200 days after the battle of the Al-Aqsa flood, the criminal enemy is still trying to reconcile its image, and the enemy is still stuck in the sands of Gaza, and the enemy will only reap shame and defeat," he said.

Abu Obeida stressed that despite the passage of 200 days, "our resistance in Gaza is firmly established in the mountains of Palestine," noting that what the resistance documented is "only a small fraction of the strikes of our heroes to the enemy."

He continued: "We will continue our strikes and resistance as long as the aggression of the occupation or its presence continues on any inch of our land."

He pointed out that the occupation forces are trying to delude the world that they have eliminated all resistance factions, "and this is a big lie."

He added that the enemy was able in 200 days to achieve nothing but mass massacres, destruction and killing, stressing: "We will not give up the basic rights of our people, foremost of which is the withdrawal, lifting the siege and the return of the displaced to their homes."

The spokesman for al-Qassam said, "The enemy is trying to evade all his promises in the negotiations and wants to gain more time," noting that "the ball is in the court of those concerned from the enemy audience, but time is short and opportunities are few."

Speaking about the Zionist prisoners held by the resistance, Abu Obeida said, "The scenario of Ron Arad may be the most likely scenario to be repeated with enemy prisoners in Gaza."

He added: "The so-called military pressure will only push us to remain steadfast in our positions and preserve the rights of our people and not to compromise them."
