Human rights monitor warns of unprecedented health & environmental disaster in Gaza
[22/ April/2024]

GAZA April 22. 2024 (Saba) - A human rights observatory warned on Monday of the increasing risk of the spread of infectious and deadly diseases in the Gaza Strip, in light of the health catastrophe exacerbated by the continuation of the crime of genocide committed by the Zionist enemy army since the seventh of last October.

According to the Sama news agency, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor highlighted that in parallel with the continuous military attacks of the Zionist enemy army by air, land and sea, death is pursuing the residents of the Gaza Strip due to the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases.

The Observatory warned that health and environmental disasters are escalating rapidly as a result of the continued destructive Zionist military attacks, and have serious and catastrophic repercussions on the health of the population and the general environment.

He warned that children, especially newborns, the elderly and people with chronic diseases, are the most affected by this health disaster.

The Human Rights Monitor called on the international community to intervene immediately and seriously to stop the systematic and widespread crimes of the Zionist enemy against the health sector in the Gaza Strip.

Euro-Med Monitor renewed its call on the international community to ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, including the entry of essential food and non-food elements necessary for an immediate, safe and effective response to the health and environmental disaster.
