DHAMAR April 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Dhamar Governorate carried out on Monday an inspection campaign on shops selling pesticides and agricultural fertilizers in the districts of Dhamar and Mayfaa Ans.
The Deputy Director of the Agriculture Office, Eng. Hafez Al-Junaid, explained that the campaign is implemented within the periodic campaigns implemented by the Office to monitor shops selling pesticides and agricultural fertilizers in various directorates with the aim of strengthening efforts to control the sale and circulation of pesticides and fertilizers and seize smuggled, prohibited and expired materials.
He stressed the importance of educating farmers and workers in the field of selling and marketing pesticides and fertilizers on ways to safely use pesticides and fertilizers.
The Director of the Plant Protection Department at the Agriculture Office, Eng. Ateeq Al-Abrat, and the Judicial Control Officer, Eng. Mabrouk Sharaf, participated in the field visit.
