HODEIDAH April 22. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry for the Internal Trade Sector, Muhammad Qatran, today reviewed the progress of the natural milk production process in dairy factories in Hodeidah Governorate.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry praised the factories’ response in implementing the national strategy to localize the dairy industry and the regularity of the production process of local natural cow’s milk.
He stressed that the dairy industry’s reliance on local raw materials is a major step that establishes a qualitative shift in national productive industries, especially food industries based on animal and agricultural productivity inputs.
He pointed out that this step is the result of the efforts of the Minister of Industry in the caretaker government and a translation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution and the Chairman of the Political Council. The highest level of shift towards local industries and supporting local production.
Undersecretary Qatran also confirmed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade will provide support and assistance to dairy factories that have begun producing fresh dairy products.
During the visit, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry honored Thabet Brothers Group and the United Dairy and Food Industry Company, for their cooperation with the Ministry’s efforts in making the national strategy to localize the dairy industry successful
He was accompanied during the visit by the Director of the Industry Office in Hodeidah Governorate, Saleh Muhammad.
