LAHJ April 22. 2024 (Saba) - Today, the distribution of road paving materials for community initiative projects on secondary roads was inaugurated in Al-Qubaita District in Lahj Governorate.
During the inauguration, which was attended by members of the Central Committee of the Ministry of Finance, the Director General of the Directorate, Wahid Al-Khader, explained that providing the necessary materials to implement community initiative projects comes in implementation of the directives of the leadership of the local authority in the governorate to complete road projects in the directorates.
He stated that 1,620 bags of cement were delivered as a first phase and were distributed according to an organized mechanism under the supervision of the Community Interventions Unit to support initiative projects in the field of roads allocated to seven secondary roads in the district, including Dhamran Al-Judur Al-Harem Road, Dhamran Al-Haddi Al-Adhana Road, Wadi Qard Road, Dhamran Al-Kaabin Jalis Road, and Dhamran Al-Kaabin Jalis Road. Al-Kaabin, Ras Al-Haqraf Road, Al-Kaabin Road, Al-Hajafi Al-Haqraf Road, and Al-Rif Al-Habil Al-Salfah Road.
Al-Khader pointed out that these materials come within the projects that were approved during the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the caretaker government, the Minister of Finance and the Governor of Lahj, to encourage community initiatives in implementing road projects in the directorate.
