SANA'A April 22. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a province, chaired by Minister of Electricity and Energy in the caretaker government Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, was discussed the work of operating 5th Hazyaz Electrical Station unit in the province.
In the meeting, an explanation was heard about the work of the technical teams to complete the life-span maintenance process for the station to bring it into service within the next two days with a capacity of seven megawatts, in addition to providing a stock of basic materials to address any emergency problems that may put the station out of service.
The minister touched on the work of implementing comprehensive life maintenance for generating stations according to the plans drawn up and the units that will enter service in the coming days.
He urged the assigned field teams to redouble their efforts and work as one team to restore the station to its normal condition.
The minister stressed the need to carry out maintenance in accordance with technical requirements and specifications.
Al-Bukhaiti stressed the importance of completing comprehensive maintenance of power generation plants to increase the generating capacity and expand the corporation's activity in various province.
