DHAMAR April 21. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting held on Sunday in Dhamar Governorate, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Governorate, Ali Atef, discussed the financial and technical reports of the activities of the Executive Unit for the Management of Agricultural Projects and Initiatives for the year 1445 AH, and the draft projects plan for the next year.
The meeting, which included members of the Board of Directors of the Executive Unit, discussed the amendments received from the Supreme Agro-Fisheries Committee and observations on the project plan for the current year 1445 AH and took the appropriate decisions thereon.
During the meeting, Undersecretary Atef praised the level of completion of the approved projects and their positive impact on serving the agricultural sector, both plant and animal.
He urged more efforts to increase productivity, expand arable land and translate the sustainable development vision aimed at achieving self-sufficiency.
The Director of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office, Director of the Executive Unit in the governorate, Dr. Adel Omar, reviewed the technical and financial completion reports, the completed and under implementation projects, and the level of achievement in them.
He pointed to the level of coordination between the Office of Agriculture and Irrigation, the governorate leadership and the Supreme Committee of Agricultural Fisheries, which had a positive impact on the success of the approved projects.
