GAZA April 21. 2024 (Saba) - Yemen's Saba correspondent in Gaza Nidal Abu Mustafa has refuted the claims of some Western and Arab media outlets that human suffering has ended in the northern Gaza Strip.
Abu Mustafa considered these allegations to be pure slander, lies and deception that contradict reality and truth in the ground.
He explained that the truth and reality is that this suffering continues and in some aspects is also worsening.
Abu Mustafa said that what some Western media and a number of Arab media are trying to promote, that the human suffering in the northern Gaza Strip has begun to disappear or end, this is pure slander, lies and misinformation that contradict reality and truth.
He continued saying trucks are very few and not sufficient for daily consumption in the northern Gaza Strip, adding these trucks do not reach the northern Gaza Strip on a daily basis, but what the Zionist enemy allows is very little.
Abu Mustafa stressed that the forms of suffering in the northern Gaza Strip are many and varied and are not limited only to the provision of some canned goods or flour.
He also pointed out that the suffering of Palestinian citizens continues in the hospitals and the health system in the northern Gaza Strip and exacerbate after the Zionist enemy completely destroyed the health system.
Al-Shifa Hospital Medical Complex and Indonesian hospital have been destroyed by the occupation, he said.
He also pointed out that the Zionist enemy stormed Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals, causing great harm to these hospitals and stopping them from working for a long time, as well as the great scarcity of providing medical supplies and medicines.
Abu Mustafa confirmed that this crisis is still worsening in the northern Gaza Strip, in addition to the fact that the lack of basic vaccinations necessary for newborn children is still worsening and causing the death of a number of these children.
He added the people in the northern part of Gaza suffers from the lack of potable or drinking water, adding the Zionist enemy destroyed many water desalination plants' moreover, there is also no fuel to operate the remainder of these plants.
Abu Mustafa said the accumulation of waste in the roads and streets, causing great health harm to citizens and the spread of insects.
The dead bodies that were killed by airstrikes or still under the rubble due to the occupation shelling also caused great suffering for the people of Gaza, he said.
