MOSCOW April 19. 2024 (Saba) - Russian forces repelled Ukrainian attacks using ATACMS missiles, drones and rocket-propelled grenades overnight.
The Russian defense said in a statement on Friday that last night "attempts by the Kiev system to carry out terrorist attacks on targets on the territory of Russia using RM-70 Vampire rocket launchers, drones and tactical operational ATACMS missiles were thwarted.
The statement said the air defense systems on duty destroyed 25 rockets and three drones in Belgorod province, as well as three US-made ATACMS missiles over the Black Sea.
Earlier in the day, Belgorod District Governor Velchislav Gladkov reported that the hostile night raids did not result in casualties, and caused minor damage to a number of houses, private cars, warehouses and an industrial establishment, where a fire broke out that was quickly extinguished.
