QALQILYA April 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces have raided a number of homes in the town of Jayus, eastern Qalqilya in the West Bank.
Local sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" that enemy forces stormed the town at dawn on Monday and are still raiding and searching a number of homes, and seizing recordings from surveillance cameras, under the pretext of searching for an attacker of a shooting attack on a colonists' bus on Sunday.
The sources added the enemy deployed large enemy army forces on the road between Azzun and Jayus, setting up military checkpoints to impede the passage of vehicles to and from the town.
Enemy forces also stormed Balata camp, eastern Nablus governorate, at dawn on Monday.
Local sources reported that a number of enemy vehicles and two bulldozers stormed the camp, and the occupation forces deployed snipers on the roofs of a number of houses, and the sounds of live bullets were heard, but no injuries were reported.
The sources added the enemy soldiers stormed one of the cultural centers in the camp and searched it.
