RAMALLAH April 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian National Council held the Zionist enemy government fully responsible for the death of prisoner Walid Daqqa, 62, who was martyred in enemy prisons due to medical negligence.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, council president Rawhi Fattouh said Daqqa was executed for negligence and lack of health care.
The occupation authorities had rejected the Power's request to provide him with the necessary treatment in specialized hospitals, in clear violation of the Geneva Convention, article IV, which protects prisoners and provides them with a humane life.
Fattouh added that Daqqa, who was sentenced to death and then commuted his sentence, was not provided with appropriate treatment, in addition to the torture, repression and solitary confinement to which the prisoners were subjected under the supervision and instructions of terrorist Ben-Gvir.
He called on the Red Cross and international institutions to investigate all violations committed by the government of racial repression against prisoners and prisoners, especially the recent executions that killed dozens of prisoners.
